Altcoins have not been able to even come close to 10k USD/coin since how many years? One and a half decades, more or less? Because maybe they all work on the same technology(Blockchain) as Bitcoin?  Altcoins are basically adding on top of this technology. Some are useful, the most are trash.

If you want to create a currency better than Bitcoin than you need to re-think what a blockchain should be.
