I’m interested in your investments; I earn enough to set aside money each month to invest in a cryptocurrency. I don’t expect to get rich overnight, but I know I need to work, and one day I hope to reach a point where I might not have to, perhaps thanks to this investing.

Please help me; this will mean a lot to me one day. Thank you to everyone who took the time to read this topic.

You're welcome to the bitcointalk community where you'd learn about feasible achievement of your dreams with bitcoin but I just correct you firstly that the bitcoin industry isn't "ours as specified "your investment" rather it's an investment opportunity opened for each and everyone interested of it just like you, I and every other persons.
However, you've taking a good step on craving to set up an investment goal on bitcoin while you've an appreciative source of income. That's is literally diversification of incomes.
You talk like you've acquired some basic levels which could lead your way in this journey. So you need to create an account with a self custodial wallet and as a beginner, I'd recommend you use Coinbase or Exodus wallet due to its friendly interface being very flexible to operate but though it could be rippled because it's a hot wallet.
Meanwhile you can as well download a cold wallet like Electrum wallet for your safer bitcoin storage since you could hold for a longer time.
You can always invest with an affordable amount. It'd also do you good if you can set up accumulating strategy using the DCA method where you could buy more bitcoin assets in addition to your holdings. Don't also forget to set up investment goal meaning a holding duration and don't forget to keep your wallet private keys secured and maintain a high esteem privacy with your bitcoin.
