Tomorow we will see the first ODI match between Australia and Pakistan. The three match series will be played at MCG and i think Australia will have an upper hand in this series not only that Pakistan is in bad shape but also that this match is being played at Aussies Home ground so they have an advantage.
This has been priced in by the bookies too and they are giving 1.18 odds to Australia and if anyone want to bet on Pakistan, they can get 4.6 odds. Another thing to note is that Mitchell Marsh and Travis Head aren't playing this match.

Times are not going well in the recent test cricket as against Pakistan Australia is performing very well in Test ODI T20 all formats so chances of Australia doing well against Pakistan are very high. Playing in Australia's home conditions will definitely be difficult for Pakistan to play there because Asian wickets are not bouncing but Australian wickets are very bouncy and fast bowling so those who can bowl with extra speed will always get an added advantage.
