Tomorow we will see the first ODI match between Australia and Pakistan. The three match series will be played at MCG and i think Australia will have an upper hand in this series not only that Pakistan is in bad shape but also that this match is being played at Aussies Home ground so they have an advantage.
This has been priced in by the bookies too and they are giving 1.18 odds to Australia and if anyone want to bet on Pakistan, they can get 4.6 odds. Another thing to note is that Mitchell Marsh and Travis Head aren't playing this match.
I see bad luck for Pakistan in the match between these two teams because Pakistan is not a strong enough team to win the match against Australia.Australia is a hardworking team anyway, even if they don't play at their home ground, they still have the upper hand. Pakistan has to prepare themselves and play because if they play for formality then they have no benefit.These two players are most of the strong wall of this team. But others still they will play with the hope of losing Pakistan and they will be able to defeat it. Pakistan's start in this ODI isn't so healthy as they have lost their two quick wickets. Both the openers Abdullah Shafique and Saim Ayub weren't able to trouble the Australian bowlers and got out by Mitchell Starc. Pat Cummins and Sean Abbott are also bowling well and the way the Pakistan team is batting nervously, i think they will get wickets too.
The most experienced pair, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan is batting and Baber is looking confident. He has made 26 out of the total $3 runs scored by the Pakistan team. The way this partnership continues, it will determine the Pakistan pose a reasonable total or not.
