Hi to all.
I had an impression that the frequent password input was not necessary, which can cause some security issues. I went ahead and set up two-factor authentication, however, it did not ask me to perform such an action after my logging out and logging back in again. As a newbie, what preventive measures should one have in place to make sure that their accounts are not defrauded or scammed?
As being said no hacker or scammer will target newbie accounts because there is nothing the account has to offer them and they can easily create a new account when they want but it is good for newbies to have this information about how to secure their accounts. Hackers target higher rank account because building an account to a high rank is not easy as it takes time and people can easily believe what and high rank account says but will never believe the words of a newbie.
I think to protect one’s account logging in and manually imputing your password every time is also a good way to secure your account we should not be too lazy about typing in our passwords. Also there was a newly added security feature where you can generate OTP before logging in to your account which is also a good security to our accounts.
