That's basically what schools do, with companies just doing it in a way that specializes in meeting the needs of the companies themselves. Unfortunately with the recent development, I'm more inclined to believe that a lot of the younger generation is actually failing to build a foundation so that companies can build their skills up for the specialization they need. Could just be because of the brain rot that social media gives out, or because of the method that technology basically holds their hands the entire way to graduation to the point where their own skills don't grow anymore, but definitely something negative in the long run imo. The tool used for convenience basically became a necessity.
And the governance over education ain't really doing jack. It's basically stagnated imo. Heck, even regressing in some countries due to corruption, if it hasn't already regressed in the past years.
