Well maybe Pakistan could have won if they batted in the second innings but sadly batting first Pakistan scored only 203 which was not enough for a strong team in Australia. When Australia fell by eight wickets it looked as if Pakistan might miraculously win the match but Pat Cummins performed well in Haris Rauf's overs. Moreover, compared to other fast bowlers, Harris took relatively more runs in Rauf's overs, so Australia had no problem scoring 204 runs.
That means a target of 204 for Australia was not enough to win, no matter how many equations we calculate.
Australian cricket is at top of the World and they prepared their all bowlers for the batting and Pat is good all rounder and he has good confidence and score was not big in this match. Pak International ODI cricket team should give 250+ runs target but they could not give this target and they lose this match in the end. Pat played crutial role in this match and if they lose his wicket at that time,they could lose this match but we saw different result from that .Mitchell Starc was awarded as player of the match because he took 3 wickets in this match and stopped Pakistani team at lowest target.Pak team need improvement but we are watching no improvement in the players and Pak selectors are doing the same mistakes and they are choosing wrong squad .
