Even they get the funds back, they won't get all the 4 millions dollars. Like kucoin I know for them to refund that money back to Metawin, Kucoin will cut their 40% and if the other centralized exchange will also cut their part then Metawin will lose good amount as well.

We never know before the case is fully investigated and closed. Assume Metawin won't retrieve all hacked money back is true, but with quick actions, they minimize chances of hackers to do money laundering successfully.
