As the title suggests, I used to think I should pick a few games to analyze and bet on. But with all the free information available online, I think we can place as many bets as we want. By betting on more games while keeping the total daily amount the same, I feel less stressed if I lose one or two bets.

For example, if I risk $100 in total for the day with just 2 bets, going 1-1 would still bother me. But if I spread that $100 over more bets, like $10 per bet, I feel more at ease watching the games. From my experience, this approach has even made me more profitable. What about you? Do you feel the same way, or am I just imagining it?
I suppose there is a psychological effect of losing a larger amount. That is, losing $100 on one bet will be psychologically perceived as more painful than losing the same amount on 10 bets. So, I believe that your peaceful game is nothing more than a figment of your imagination. But even if it is, there is nothing wrong with it. Now you perceive the gameplay more easily, which reduces unnecessary stress.

As for the profitability of betting $100 on 10 games, the diversification effect may be at work. The more bets, the higher the probability that one or more of them will be especially successful, but at the same time a smaller amount is spent on the bet itself ($10, not $100).
