There has been a obvious improvement in Manchester United’s play under interim coach Ruud van Nistelrooy compared to Erik Ten Hag’s tenure, I still think the match would likely have ended in a draw, especially given that encounters between these two clubs have historically produced the most draws in the Premier League. Even though United have shown better form under Ruud van Nistelrooy, they shouldn’t let it go to their heads instead, they should focus on securing Champions League qualification for next season and possibly winning the Europa League this year.
It is very clear that under the interim coach, Man United looks better in terms of play and in yesterday's match against Chelsea, I saw Man United players look calmer, they just need to improve their attack line a little. I think Van Nistelrooy would be suitable to accompany Amorim as an assistant coach, although I read in the newspaper that Amorim will bring two of his assistants who worked with him at Sporting CP, but Van Nistelrooy cannot be ruled out, he will be needed to at least speed up Amorim's adaptation when coaching Man United later. And indeed the realistic target for Man United this season is to get a ticket to the UCL at the end of the season besides that in the European league which is currently being played with the arrival of a new coach, it is hoped that it will improve its position in the standings table.
You shouldn't expect too much from Amorim because he needs time to understand the playera and the pkayers also needs time in order to them to blend with his game pattern. He might not be able to qualify to UCL, but at least let United qualify to Europa. The reason why I said this is because, the way it worked out for Mr A, might not work out for Mr B. But by next season, Amorim should be able to get a ticket to UCL. Van Nistelrooy did a good coach in the conposture of the team but I don't think he will still be in United as an assistant coach because Amorim already has.
