Barcelona is wild guys...
Barcelona won 33 points with 12 matches they played while Real Madrid won 24 points with 11 matches so the 9 point advantage is because Real Madrid has not played the 12th match if Madrid has played it the distance between Real and Barcelona is not too far and can still be caught up but yes I have to admit Barcelona looks very tough this season and it seems they want to make up for last season's mistakes which did not appear optimally in La Liga.
It is very unfortunate that Real Madrid's 12th match had to be postponed, so that Barcelona is more confident at the top of the standings with a fairly large distance.
Barcelona this season has shown a very solid performance and they seem to be more organised and consistent than last season, Xavi has previously found a very good team framework and Hansi flick was able to take advantage of it by applying the right formula to maximise Barcelona potential this season, the distance left by Madrid at the moment is very far, but I think Madrid still have a chance to catch them on the condition that Madrid can perform consistently and hope that Barcelona loses their 3 matches, currently Barcelona is ahead of Madrid by 9 points, but at least Madrid still has 1 postponed match which may be able to be a difference for them in the future, the postponed match must be done in response to the storm that occurred in Valencia but indeed if Madrid can cut the point gap then it is likely that the competition will be even tighter at this time, for now I think Madrid must be able to maintain their consistency and minimize the loss of points if they still want to compete with Barcelona in la liga.
