Some Real Madrid fans think that the 9 point difference is not too big, this is because they believe that every Real Madrid player has a Yamaha 85 PK engine installed on each back that is capable of covering that point gap in the near future. I don't know how optimistic they are this season after getting a first-hand look at the team's performance so far, but the fans still want the best.
I'm a Real Madrid fan, and I am very aware that 9 points is a number that can cause problems for Real Madrid. Although Ancelotti said that they are still confident of winning La Liga and UCL, but seeing their performance in both La Liga and UCL, it is quite doubtful. I still can't believe they still take that 9 point difference for granted.

9 points is a lot, it takes 3 wins for Real Madrid and 3 losses for Barcelona. Will Hansi Flick let his team lose 3 times during this season? I'm not sure about that, especially since they won El Clasico yesterday and this gives Barcelona a high motivation to be able to beat other clubs in La Liga throughout the season.

You are right. 9 points is a huge interval in the table. Barcelona are in very good form this season; they are in form where they can beat any team that they play with. Barcelona will not make any mistake to lose three matches and leave the space for Real Madrid, where as I’m still doubting if Real Madrid will be getting back and get the first position, because while they are in the process of restoring their performance, Barcelona will still be getting more points that will make it difficult for Real Madrid to catch up on the table.

Real Madrid will definitely have a hard time meeting up with Barcelona in La Liga because Barcelona are in their best form now. But I don’t know that will happen before the end of the season. For now, all we can say is that no team like Barcelona always uses their opportunities to gather as many goals as they want, which will still make them go further in the table.

I don’t know for now, but if Real Madrid get rid of their defence issues and focus on winning lots of games, I think they will be able to meet up with Barcelona. Mind you, Barcelona players might go to injury within the season, which we don’t know how it will affect the team. That is why it’s called a game; anything is capable of happening.
