What you're saying is true, 9 points is a lot
but the season, let's still say, is long. We still have a good month of games to finish the winter part of the competition so it's a good 12-15 points
after the Christmas holidays a large portion of the team will leave beyond the goal, there are still many points

It is clear that this advantage has a psychological impact
Some Real Madrid fans think that the 9 point difference is not too big, this is because they believe that every Real Madrid player has a Yamaha 85 PK engine installed on each back that is capable of covering that point gap in the near future. I don't know how optimistic they are this season after getting a first-hand look at the team's performance so far, but the fans still want the best.

Basically, I don't completely deny things like that, of course because I quite often find that Real Madrid can recover and catch up with the points gap before the end of the season. However, if they fall further behind, then everything will be very difficult to recover and the possibility of failing to defend the title will be even higher. Meanwhile, Real Madrid is 1-2 behind Milan in the ongoing match. Milan could have locked in victory if they had scored 1 additional goal for a score of 1-3.
Real Madrid is a world-class club with a rich history of success, and while the 9-point gap between them and Barcelona may seem significant, if Real Madrid can come together as a team, identify their issues, and address them promptly, there’s every possibility they can close the gap and catch up with Barcelona. The season is still long, and form can change quickly in football. However, if they continue to struggle with their current form and fail to resolve the underlying problems within the team, it could be difficult for them to even secure a top-three finish in La Liga this season. Madrid’s squad has the talent to compete at the highest level, but they need to find consistency, improve their team dynamics, and build momentum. Failure to do so could see them fall further behind not only Barcelona but also other teams competing for top positions.
Pokapoka124,
My dear brother, I do not see Real Madrid coming back in La Liga to beat Barcelona. No matter how good that might turn to become in the future it all depends on the Barcelona squad. The present Barcelona will are seen is not joking and they have started to hit the ground right from their first match till this moment. Raphinlna is in his top form, the little Yamal and old Lewa are all in good form.
So, for Real Madrid to win the La Liga means that two things will have to happen;
  • Real Madrid has to return to excellent form
  • Barcelona has to lose form
But there's no guarantee that these two things will happen.
