For Amorim to succeed at a club like Manchester United, he would need to prove that he can handle the intense pressure, motivate a team with diverse talents, and establish a consistent, winning strategy. His victory over City is impressive, but only time and experience will show if he’s truly ready to lead a team of United’s caliber back to the top. It would certainly be interesting to see how he fares, but for now, he remains a promising coach who is not yet in the same league as the likes of Guardiola.
The problem MU is currently facing is consistency, they sometimes win perfectly but at other times draw and even lose. When we look at material players, MU has players who have above-average abilities. their ability to play individually and dribble a ball looks good when we compare it to Manchester City. They just need to be guided to consistent and looking forward to how to give accurate pressure. I am enough optimistic that Amorim can realize it because when I look at how they manage sporting and win with many different goals when facing the city, Amorim will give his ability to build a messed up team like MU.
This means that Ruben Amorim only needs a strategy that suits the playing style of Man United players so that they can restore their performance to be better at the same time as they can play solidly and slowly start to improve their performance and become consistent in winning. Sporting's victory over Man City impressed me even though Sporting players did not seem as good as Man City players but Ruben Amorim was able to apply good tactics and could read the tactics given by Pep to Man City and finally beat them, this is not a coincidence I think Ruben Amorim is indeed the right choice for MU.
