Seems to be two issues. Talkimg is often down and there is some type of proxy that btc talk uses that also fails.

Try using Imgur. Back when I was more active I always had this image hosting service on hand.
Imgur is history.
No does not work no more, which is part of the reason that the forum has hundreds of thousands of historical image links (maybe even millions) without actual images.
At least my BTC holdings but also my stock portfolio spiked.
