Yesterday there was the match between the West Indies and England. England team was batting first and gave the valuable reasonable target but West Indes have very good and great power hitters since their team came in the cricket. They always have amazing batsmen and little bit of amazing bowling as well. At the same time, we have to praise them for their fielding, they are good in all of these departments but most of the time, fail to reach the trophy in the World Cups but recently in the 2024 World Cup, they also played well, I hope better for them in coming future.
This was the last ODI match of the series. Because in the second match itself we got to see a better performance than England. So I thought England would be able to continue their good batting streak. In the second match West Indies set a huge target of 329 runs. However, England won the match easily.
But in the last match, we saw England's batsmen batting erratically. England team lost 4 wickets to collect only 24 runs. None of Jacks, Cox, Livingstone and Bethell batted well. Even then England team managed to collect 263 runs. But West Indies batting order is very strong. Should have collected at least 300 to win against West Indies.
West Indies reached the target of victory by losing only 2 wickets. Along with England's batsmen, England's bowlers also performed poorly in this match. Keacy Carty and Brandon King scored centuries. Keacy Carty was unbeaten on 128 off 114 balls.
T20 series will start after 3 days between same teams West indies and England team and odi series was played and all games of this series was ended yesterday. 3 rd game of ODI series, West indies team won toss and got a chance to take first bat or bowl and West indies got a good opportunity to made good decision and they chose bowl first. England team effort in batting looks normal not too high and they made 267 runs in 50 overs by losing 8 wickets. Salt played well from England team side and he made 74 runs in 108 balls and hitted four 4s and one 6s. Some last wickets were also showed some good effort but all their effort was not worthy and they lost in bowling. West indies team chased down all runs in 43 overs and they got win by 8 wickets and 7 overs. Bardon and Carry both made a brilliant century and bardon got a player of game award because he made 102 runs in 117 balls and hitted thirteen 4s and one 6s.
