Hansi Flick's way of making rules to discipline his players is like a double-edged sword. On the one hand, there are advantages because in this way, players will never be late for training and have the opportunity to gain trust from the coach. In addition, it will improve the player's mentality. However, on the other hand, when a player breaks the rules but has a high work ethic on the field or in other words contributes a lot, he will still be crossed out. This is an unavoidable risk.
But for now, Hansi Flick is considered successful in doing so.
Hansi Flick's style of discipline is something I quite admire. He's known for his strict approach towards punctuality and his prudence in long and intensive training among players. He’s doing this to solidify the bond and understanding between the teamplayers. This to many of the players might be a bit of an harsh process, but in true sense it is not. It ensures the guys to be well prepared for the subsequent games ahead.
I think haven't managed team like the Germany national team including the Bayern Munich club has made Hansi Flick more prepared than Xavi in terms of winning results recorded since he came to the club. As a manager coaching big teams like the Barcelona, experience is something that's largely needed to withstand the competition and pressure ahead.
I remembered the account of Pedri on his experience with Hansi Flick earlier. Pedri mentioned that “He [Hansi Flick] has brought a method that makes you believe it, gives you confidence to play and you play well, even if you are one of the youngsters.” a method that makes players more comfortable with their potentials and talents making it a booster for their performances. But when it comes to the issue of lateness to the training ground, he first of all said, it is Norma to find players coming into the training ground after the coach had arrived but in the case of Hansi Flick, it's different. He said “
If you arrive late, you don’t play, I arrive ten minutes before the talk so as not to make a mess" to show how prudent the guy Hansi is with his games.
