On a personal level, I think that I like the idea of a kind of normal looking guy who might little by little become more muscular with the passage of time and the ongoing doing of pushups, and sure some of us might become more muscular with this passage of time than others, yet we still might not look much different than the average Joe, except maybe in terms of measuring our current selves against our prior selves we might become more in shape with the passage of time... or maybe it is just a psychological thing, and we gain confidence, even though we really do not look very much different from when we started?
Nah, I don’t buy that. There’s no way you can do 100+ push-ups per day for hundreds of days and not have far more muscle than the average Joe.
Could be. I have an average of around 230 pushups per day for the last 277 days, and I am not feeling particularly jacked.
Sure, in regards to physical appearance, I am likely indisputably more solid and defined than what I was when we started, so I can likely admit there could be some difficulties to measure how appearance is getting better or not getting worse.. and yeah, maybe I am due for another comparison photo so I can attempt to visualize how I look in the photo since the last couple of times that I took photos...
I will admit that I can do a shit-ton more pushups without as much strain and without as much overall ongoing body soreness, and likely carry more groceries up the steps without getting as tired, but still.
I have me doubts about great transformations having had taken place in my own body and stamina.
It also could be true that some bodies are more receptive to building and appearance changes than others, perhaps partly due to age and/or prior condition and maybe even due to existing conditions (back to age and other metabolic factors).
