I hope you haven't overlooked my post due to our disagreements in the custom hardware section ages ago. BFL lost most of their support, and I no longer defend or argue for them.

Decided to proceed with caution.

I suspect I may continue sales one day but until I can figure out a method that I am comfortable with and does not constitute as "Money Transmitting" I will not.

does this still apply now that they have said Bitcoin is handled more like property?

As far as I am aware my funding customer coins is still "money transmitting" although Bitcoin was declared to be property by the IRS.

Would it still be "money transmitting" if you sold unfunded coins but made the customer send the amount to be funded to a trusted third party in advance who loads the coin after a reasonable period of time.
