With Barcelona's current great performances and the way Real Madrid is performing, I don't think Real Madrid can even catch up with Barcelona, even with this six-point gap. Whenever Barcelona is in great form and topping the table, it is always hard for Real Madrid to catch up and win the La Liga title. So, now I don't think Barcelona will want to give Real Madrid any chances to win La Liga. Currently, I see Barcelona as the team with the best chance to win the league.
As I look at Real Madrid now, Ancelotti really needs to identify the causes of the team's recent performance issues and solve them so they have a chance to win a trophy this season. But if they continue like this, they might not win even one trophy. Even in the Champions League, Madrid is starting to mess up; imagine that Real Madrid has played four matches and already lost two. That’s a bad record for them.
We can definitely see Barcelona do better than Real Madrid this year. I know that everyone assumed better but because the team is not fitting better together, Real Madrid is playing terrible. A report came out recently that said Mbappe requested to be played at his old position left wing. I know they have Vini Jr. there, but he is saying he is a left wing too and being played at striker and at least for a few games Vini should be tried there whereas Mbappe goes back to left wing.
I do not think that they will do it, they will not listen to him, but by the looks of it we are going to see Mbappe not stay here for too long unless they fix something. If they keep this up, then we are going to see him do terrible and he may actually leave.
That may make no sense to people, this kid grew up idolizing Cristiano Ronaldo and Real Madrid, so why would he leave? But, he is also someone who doesn't like tough situations and he is in a bit of a mood right now, so sending him away could make more sense right now. I believe at the end of the season is too early, just one year wouldn't work, but if he keeps being a disappointment for another year after that, he is definitely going to be sold.
