Hi. I received several emails from Stake regarding verification and receiving a $250 bonus for completing lvl 2 verification. I have been using the site for almost 4 years and I have invested a lot of time and energy into my account. Will I really lose access to my account if I don't verify by January?

And you are even lucky to be among those who are selected to pass kyc up to level two and get $250 bonus, people like myself have passed kyc level that is higher, yet we got nothing from stake as a bonus for doing that.
So, I advice you take the offer, verification doesn't take much time, but if you are head bent on not having your personal ID handed over to (perhaps) your favorite casino, then be ready to (maybe) loose access to your account by January.
