It could be regards to Ancelotti, he sees that they are in trouble right now and he thinks that it is not the time to play some younger kids. He is right that they have a problem and the results they want is not coming these days, after losing to Barcelona, they lost to Milan as well, and the funnier part is that they were protesting Ballon D'or and didn't participated in it, and they said Vini will show the world a new level because he got angry, and the very next game they lost lol.
So all in all, when there are so many troubles at the club, I do not think that we are going to end up with something that will get much attention to younger players and their improvement. When you are doing great, and the team is always winning, you can give some minutes to young players, but when the team sucks, those kids will have to wait until they get better. Right now, Real Madrid do not have even one minute to spare on these kids, hence why we are not seeing them playing.
Anytime that a club run into trouble waters, either via the management, coach or even with a league, the outcome is always easy to know, because you will notice that the club performance will be on a decline level, and as a matter of fact, a major source of concern to fans, we can see that in the clubs like Chelsea in the last three seasons suffered management crisis when the club keep changing owners and even coach.
Same thing happened also with Manchester United, but then their were able to tackle their own asap, but still the impact is still very visible on the club uptil now, so one can check to see such.
It is common knowledge that the matrix of a club relies significantly on stability of management and the coaching bench. As has been seen at Chelsea and Manchester United, the changes are normally felt on the pitch whenever they take place. At this level, crises are realized as uncertainty which limits the growth of the team, and the performance and supporting spectator’s expectations of the club are disappointing.
But however, big clubs of this calibers have the ability to come back from such situations. Manchester United for instance have demonstrated an ability to recover from a troublesome situation very fast despite the effects that are present even today. From this we learn that stability is a key ingredient in team dynamics in the top leagues, and also understand that getting back to form takes time and patience for teams to get out of the doldrums and back to the top again.
