The problem is that you can never be too private when it comes to this kind of things anyway because most likely you have a friend that you have a confidence to share this kind of thing without the worry that they might steal from you, that's just how it is, most likely the attackers know the woman or at least was hired (most likely) by someone that she knows and that person knows that she owns this big stash of bitcoins because I don't think that any random criminal yahoo is going to target someone because they know themselves that they've got a bitcoin, most lowlifes tend to go for easier targets like jewelries and cash, anything outside that is going to be a different story.
