When I was younger, I have believed the conspiracy of home advantage helps team to win. But as I grow older in football, I understood that it has little to no effects. It was just showing its effect in the champions league home and away points until it was eliminated.
If you are not in good form, pack all your home fans and boo the opponent team, you will still lose.
But it's true. There is stats and history backing this belief. Home teams have an advantage over the visiting teams, the support from the fans cheering all over the stadium and the belief that you're invincible at home gives the players a strong will to get the best result. It is expected that you win every game at home irrespective of your current form or place on the table or your opponent's position in the league.
These statistics only apply to teams that are in top form with impressive records achieved since the beginning of the season, for example, like Leverkusen did last season, bettors have no doubts about placing bets on the home team's victory because they are clearly the favorite team based on their performance and full support from the fans. However, this may not be effective for a team that is in a slump, such as what Manchester United experienced in the Ten Hag era, even though the entire stadium was filled with Manchester United supporters, it would not change the situation, especially if the opponent they faced was a strong team like Liverpool this season.
