Based on this fact, I don't see any reason for anyone to have a problem with their funds getting confiscated or their accounts getting blocked when they are found operating those accounts from restricted regions.

When you are not allowed to gamble on a platform from a country you belong to, you are not supposed to be gambling there. But, if you try to be smart, use a VPN to create an account, make a deposit, and start gambling, you shouldn't become a crybaby when you request a withdrawal, asked for completing KYC verification and then get busted for cheating and going against the Terms of Service.
