With gambling gaining awareness each day and the population of those gambling increasing it's calls for concern as many has fallen victim to this money sucking game that makes people not to save their money but loss it.
The good and bad of gambling can be handled consciously by each individual but when addiction has struck it will become a big problem in life. Many people gamble just to have fun with their co-workers and usually they spend their weekends just to enjoy the fun. If we are aware that gambling can have bad effects and will spend the money we have then try not to get involved in it. This awareness is formed from each person's psychology and when we ourselves are unable to control it then don't expect others to be able to keep us away from gambling.
Gambling addiction may be less likely to occur when you are mature enough in age as you have an environment of your own and are responsible for all the functions including maintaining the family. Gambling should be seen as a means of fun and entertainment without wasting extra time and money. Gambling with colleagues can be more positive for you as not all of them should be addicted and it can help you become more aware.
Keeping yourself away from gambling shouldn't take away your chances of real success as a form of entertainment you should have in your life. However, the allocation of time and money to protect yourself from addiction should be limited.
