I'm very surprised at the result of Barcelona game today, I at some point couldn't accept the result almost immediately because I almost couldn't believe it because I have seen this same team won against tough and bigger team that they got landslide victory and now they are playing against a small team that they should have won very clearly but they couldn't, well this is football and almost anything can always happen. This should be one of their few losses they have suffered this season.
Real Sociedad is not a club that can be underestimated in my opinion their performance is almost on par with Athletic Bilbao. Their performance is mediocre but also can't be said to be good, I initially thought the match would end in a draw because Barcelona still had plenty of time to hold Real Sociedad to a draw in the second half but it turned out that Barcelona suffered a narrow defeat, they also didn't do as many shots as they usually do, football is indeed full of surprises I am also not surprised if behind this there is something strange like cheating by bookies in arranging the game.
The solid defense built by Real Sociedad was the key to their success in this match, in statistics we can see that they didn't let Barcelona create very dangerous opportunities, even though Barcelona dominated the match. Instead they could be more effective in attacking and they could create 1 goal to secure victory.
