Chelsea could not win against Arsenal but the match was a 1-1 draw. However, I felt Chelsea's overall gameplay was stronger in this match than Arsenal's.
In this big match Chelsea played at home but I don't see Chelsea being stronger than Arsenal but Chelsea can match Arsenal game because Arsenal dominance of the game is superior and the only thing I see from Chelsea is that they have way of playing in counter-attack that is quite dangerous.
There were quite lot of yellow cards in this match and there was goal that Chelsea got but it ended with offside so they failed to get the advantage, some good chances were had by both team but I was quite disappointed when Arsenal had very good chance at the end of the second half extra time which failed to be utilized right before the referee blew the whistle to end the match.
If we talk about possession, Arsenal is actually a little superior in the match despite their status as an away team, Chelsea actually started the match well and we can see how Arsenal had to work hard in blocking every attack built by Chelsea while Arsenal only tried to attack with a counterattack in the first half, but after Haverzt goal which was disallowed by the referee, Arsenal actually began to dare to press and often had to make Chelsea players gathered in front of their goal, so I think the score of 1-1 was fair for both teams although we can actually say that if Arsenal were unlucky in the final minutes of the game, Arsenal attack in the match was too focused on the wing and I think if they had a capable central striker of course maybe we would have seen a different result in end match The two teams are still competing so far in 3-4 positions with the same 19 points.
