I've sacrificed my time, my happiness, my energy, my friends, my moral, etc just to earn as much as possible.

Dude, impressing other people doesn't mean I give my money to them, instead I make money for myself and spend for myself. Impressing other people mean I show that I can afford to eat in luxury restaurant, wear branded clothes etc in order to match with them.

Calm, by not care with other people's life and wise, to get rich by not being close with unfortunate people.

Answering to the OP's question, I could not give a better answer than the one Apocollapse has given with some of his comments above.

I would say that at least some people who focus on making money are exactly like he has pretended to show himself throughout this thread: egocentric and a little psychopathic (lacking empathy), with a need to convince themselves and others to be better or at least not worse than them. I say it with all my respect to him, of course, because each one should build their personality as they please Smiley although I consider myself diametrically opposed to what he claims.
