I was just thinking about what it would take to see Pep Guardiola getting fired! Cheesy I have always thought that it is impossible for him to ever lose his job and I still think it is, but from a hypothetical point of view, I wonder when a club's management would decide to sack him? Cheesy Four losses is of course not enough. He could probably lose 8 consecutive games and still wouldn't get fired. Probably 12... But it is a new situation that Pep Guardiola hasn't been in yet. This could either snowball and Manchester City is far more nervous than usually or they will soon answer with an impressive winning streak.
For me I think it's about class, prestige, antecedents, and trust, any manager that posses any one of these qualities might never be forced out of a club, come to think of it, Guardiola has done what no coach in the history of Manchester city has done for club, he practically transformed Manchester city into an elite club, winning all the important trophies in club football, the champions league, the premiership, the FA cup, the FIFA world club championship, now if you were the owner of the club, will you sack a manager of such repute because he lost four games in a row? I guess the answer is no, I believe there is a mutual respect that exist between the coach and the owners of Manchester city which could be the reason why they would never contemplate threatening him with a sack.
