I'm very surprised at the result of Barcelona game today, I at some point couldn't accept the result almost immediately because I almost couldn't believe it because I have seen this same team won against tough and bigger team that they got landslide victory and now they are playing against a small team that they should have won very clearly but they couldn't, well this is football and almost anything can always happen. This should be one of their few losses they have suffered this season.
Barcelona lost to Real Sociedad their second defeat this season, and this is the first game they have played without scoring a goal. I never thought Barcelona would finish a game without scoring a goal. Real Sociedad did not have much chance of competing against Barcelona because they defeated many of the top teams in every competition this season, so, strangely they lost the match. Barcelona conceded a goal after 33 minutes of the game and was unable to score a goal to draw the match. Barcelona beat Real Madrid by four goals and lost to Real Sociedad, which Real Madrid defeated at home by two goals. This is why football is full of surprises.
I didn't watch Barcelona's match against Real Sociedad, but after watching the highlights, I can say that the team didn't play well; they didn't have a single shot on target, which was surprising for a team like Barcelona. They didn't have any shots on goal after dominating the game with 70% of the ball possession. Their players seem tired after they have only played 13 games. Barcelona has good younger players, but we're not sure if they'll be strong enough to play all season, they've just played 13 league games and seem to be getting weak. But, let's see what happens at the end of the season.
Barcelona have won four of their last five matches in La Liga but have lost their last match. A Barcelona defeat means a chance for Real Madrid to take over the top of the points table. The way Barcelona performed against Real Madrid as well as the way Barcelona dominated in other matches, I expected Barcelona to win this match too, but the Catalan club proved us all wrong by losing 1-0 against Real Sociedad. But of course they won't worry too much about losing this match as they are already at the top of the points table with relatively few points more than Real Madrid now just focus on their next match and everything will be fine.
