There is a belief among fans about Real Madrid being very difficult to beat in the Champions League so far and that is a miracle that no other team has. Real Madrid are often lucky and able to recover from difficult moments in a match, but I don't think so this season. So far, Real Madrid is often referred to as the king of comebacks where they fell behind first but won at the end, but it is true that this season some people have doubted the consistency of their performance.
I tend to agree that Liverpool is more consistent than Real Madrid regarding performance, but on paper Real Madrid is superior in many ways, including squad depth. Ancelotti is an experienced coach compared to Arne Slot, but I really don't want to doubt Arne Slot even though this is his first season for Liverpool.
It is undeniable that for the beginning of this season Liverpool is still more consistent than Madrid and anyone can still see that for now Madrid's performance still has problems that Ancelotti still cannot solve properly until now.
But when talking about luck, mentality and of course the quality of players then everything still looks the same so for the final result I think this will still be difficult to guess even though from the early season performance Liverpool is still better than Madrid.
Madrid's condition cannot be underestimated even though performance and injured players are a problem but they are still Madrid with all the superior forms they have, especially seeing their h2h from several previous matches in the Champions League we can see that Madrid can always beat Liverpool with a large enough score so this can be a consideration that Madrid also has a great chance for this match.
