It is clear that Liverpool are favourites in the upcoming game, but this does not mean that they will try to take the full three points. They have practically guaranteed themselves a place in the top 8, why should they strain themselves/risk if a draw suits them just fine? There is no difference between 1st or 3rd-4th-5th place. In parallel, every point in the Premier League is worth all the gold, I think that they are focusing primarily on the Premier League now.
You may not see the need for the strain for three points but for Liverpool it doesn't just end at the three points and staying at the top of the table but setting a record is also part of it all , so they can possibly decide to strain to get the complete three points and have a Fri feet at the top of the table while they also attempt pitching a record with the new UCL format. except the the premier league gets placed above the UCL for Liverpool then we could anticilatsßv
Liverpool current condition is certainly very supportive to get 3 points from Real Madrid. But personally I will not underestimate Madrid because we have to remember in the past when Liverpool was favored but it backfired which ended in defeat with an aggregate of 6-2. At least with the new format Liverpool did not play Leg 1 and 2. Real Madrid game is unstable and this is the right time for Arne Slot to design a strategy to beat Ancelotti.
Yep, Liverpool is really lucky that's a new format, so they can take advantage of playing at home to intimidate Real Madrid in order for them to win the match. However, if not for the present condition of Real Madrid, I don't think that any club can intimidate them away from home, but Real Madrid needs to prepare seriously for this match, if they don't want that to happen. This is because Liverpool is in a consistent state, and have the quality to win at home.
