I've been fascinated on how casinos really attracted gamblers on the games that they have that people come back for more even if they lose money. I'm talking about land base casinos here as it is really very attractive and the atmosphere are different.
So from what I observed, there are some that I think that might add to it's aura that's why we do play on them.
1. Incentives and Rewards - majority of casinos have this membership card, and so when you play and you used it, you will accumulate points and you can used this points like to get free merchandise from them. I even have been given free hotel accommodation.
2. Design of casinos - it was really brilliantly crafted by the design itself, very big, no clocks inside, and then the color could have played as well, like gold and red which they say is the lucky color or color of money.
3. Free drinks/alcohol and then there are live band - So they gave you free drinks and alcohol, but perhaps you make you drunk and so your judgement is clouded and potentially you losing big money. And then there are entertainment, such as live bands performing every hour to keep you inside and watch and have some fun while at the same time losing money.
Maybe you can add to it as what are you think we keep on coming back as if we are under the spell of this big casinos?
That's one of the best things when you play at a land based casino, there is actually free juice, snacks, and so on. I found this out because I had a friend who told me that you can't enter a land based casino if you don't have a membership card.
Not sure where your friends played, but even if you doesn't have a card, then you can enter and get the free drinks all you want. Even if you are not playing, you can get all the amenities. You can order beers or wine, but if it just soda or whatever drinks, its going to be in the beverage area and you can get it for free.
He said that he had an experience when he went there and acted like he was lucky that day. He said that his first attempt to bet was around $10. He said that
he suddenly won around $415. He said that he had just started playing when he saw that he had won. he said that he immediately gave up and left the
casino because he had already won. But there is also a time that he also lose
Good for him that he left early because he had won. But there are gamblers that are not satisfied winning that kind of amount and going to stay and play and take part of the free alcohol and music and still going to target to win big.
