EDIT: Oh yeah, it seems the following night should be the first clear night here since a couple of weeks (well... no, i'm not in the UK), so i can get more data on the heart nebula (most recent pic) and present some clean, more detailed version, though the full moon will not make it easier for me.

We've had a good run of clear nights here (Aust) - not getting much sleep. I have the Tarantula Nebula lined up, but the moon is at 99% tonight :-(



Yep, in the clearest of nights astronomers don't get much of sleep Smiley
I have things mostly automated, but still have to go outside late to cover the scope and place the lightbox/lid for shooting calibration frames.
If i'm not too lazy i'm going to use the SII/OIII filter, but it's of different thickness than the Ha/OIII filter, so i have to correct the backfocus.

Good luck for the NGC2070, which is below the horizon 24/7 for me  Undecided
