How can swapping be a solution at all? Swapping in practice means just "swapping" transaction history with someone else. This create more problems than before, as the future trades can be attributed to you. In court, you would have to confess that you swapped.
Now we should discuss what a swap is. If you deposit BTC on Binance, buy XMR with it and withdraw it to your wallet. Isn't it a swap in some way? Or any order at all on any exchange?
In court, if it is necessary to prove the origin of money, it is quite irrelevant whether it is Bitcoin, XMR or Dollar. If you know that you will be in court for it at some point, then there is certainly no point in swapping anything, it is just a waste of money on various commissions.
Is there any way to go from BTC to XMR without swapping?
I guess a simple rename didn't work.
