As expected, Portugal win strongly and Spain as well although I was expecting more from Spain but a win is a win.
There is just something about Portugal 🇵🇹 that keeps them in the game, ever since they won the Euros from qualifying lovers to winning the competition, this team has been solid and good competitor in all games they are involved in.
This Poland team is no good. I knew it since their first game in the Euros and they have only continued to go downhill. I wonder what would become of Poland when Lewandowski retires.
No lie in this, after Lewandowski leaves it's break or make...Poland could either become a better team or will go extinct like a dinosaur 🦕 but we hope for the best for them.
I don’t think you should down play their performance against Portugal even though the result didn’t go their way.
We can all agree that on the first half of the match, Poland had more good attempt than Portugal. But come the second half, Portugal stepped up their game and dominated the match. We all know how good of a team Portugal is and for Poland playing far away from home to even go toe to toe with them even without lewadoski. I think they tried their best but then this is football. The result didn’t go their way. Again Poland football management should put more effort to seeing the team at the top level there by making sure everything the players need is in place and also.
Anyway, Spain ever so consistent this year with another win in their back. A force to be reckoned with for sure.
Spain of today is conservative in how they approach games, not any different from the tiki taka era but hey it's about getting the wins which they do but more can be done to make them an invisible team .
