why can't religion reduce the rate of crimes in our society?
Religion: I believe religion is a practice that teaches ways of good conducts and we all tend to found ourselves in a religion. I'm so sure all religion talks about good that leads man to the right track, correction from evil, love for one another, peace. But we still come across killings and all sort of different crimes in our society. If the society should practice our individual religion which they tend to belong, i feel the world would be a better place for mankind
The question of why religion guides people to the right path but does not reduce the crime rate in our society is very profound.  Religious education and belief change the inner self of a person but the root cause of crime is not religious disregard or practice.  Social, economic, psychological factors also influence the occurrence of crime.  In addition, poverty, lack of education and employment create instability and criminal tendencies among people.  Basically, the combination of religion and other influential elements of society should form a healthy society. In this case, along with religious morality, other aspects such as education, elimination of discrimination, law and order etc. should be given equal importance.
