Superstitions manifest for an individual based on his beliefs on them happening. Just as it's famously said in one of the holy books "that as a man thinketh in his heart so he is", and that's exactly how superstition works.
If you ever immersed yourself in the believe that should you share or gift out money to others while you're not done with your gambling session that its going to lead to your inevitable eventual loss, then that's exactly what will happen to you. Because automatically under such belief your body, mind/psychology is already wired towards that direction of failing because of that common act.
But for anyone who refuses to gaslight himself into such strings of stupidity those thoughts doesn't bother his mind while having his fun time because people still don't give out money while they gamble but still ends in losing everything.
#3 Never count money/chips at the table: This is more of an etiquette and a way to protect yourselves but for some people they believe that doing this exudes pride which will invite bad luck and karma. Keep your money and count it when you get home.
what about those that kept to the believe and still lose it all?
