This is one of all those hype events I don't really want to bet on it even as a free bet, it is scripted from the strat, everything seems so fake and cringe about it and even if I see on of them KO the other with a clear punch and the other guy not moving for a minute I won't stop thinking it was a setup. And for these odds, even if it were 3:1 simply not worth the risk.
Poor Jake, he chose the wrong opponent. Last night, it was Jake versus the boxing world; every punch he landed appeared to be disrespectful to an older legend, and he landed 78 punches. The way he praised and appreciated Tyson after the game, I knew it was staged. "Do not knock him out, just waste everyone's time and drag the event to Round 9" I like how everything ended, but Jake's statement that he would beat any version of Tyson upset me the most. I'm not exergerating, but no active professional boxer could survive more than one round against peak Mike Tyson.
I don't know what Jake smokes but his dealer must be very good.
I did not have the time and opportunity to watch the match, but entering Twitter (now known as X) today, my entire feed was filled with users discussing the event.
Though I never really gave this event any attention, not because i initially knew it would be a staged fight, but it's more like because I really did not find it enticing for a young man to be fighting an already old and potentially weak man for whatever the sake or reason is.
Many kind of suspected that the fight would be scripted from the onset to the very end, and I am not surprised this ended up being the case here.
Anyways, the fight have come and gone, i guess it's time we move on to more important things.
