This is the right answer. Use a good no-kyc exchange like xchange over tor, rinse and repeat.

The good old one two switcharu! Monero was banned for any approved ransomeware payments some years ago by OFAC - it’s funny because threat actors will still demand ransoms paid out in Monero but it’s actually illegal to pay a legal ransom that has been negotiated by Incident Response firms and threat actors simply because it is untraceable.
