The only reason Man United management appointed Amorim to replace Ten Hag was because his performance with Sporting was very satisfactory, the same thing was also done by Man United when they brought in Ten Hag, at that time he was a successful coach with Ajax Amsterdam. It should be underlined that the EPL atmosphere is very different from other leagues, Amorim needs to adapt to the EPL hard and fast style of play. Now Amorim is carrying a big responsibility, he is expected to raise Man United status back to being a respected club like when Alex Ferguson was still in charge. I'm not sure he can do it anytime soon because the competition in the EPL is very competitive.
If Amorim does not show good progress in a short time, maybe his fate will not be much different from Ten Hag and previous MU coaches. There is a lot of hope that Amorim can change MU into a strong team after Ruud van Nistelrooy tried his best in several short MU matches. Amorim has a job to at least improve MU's performance, if not, he might be compared to Ruud van Nistelrooy by fans. It will definitely feel uncomfortable if such a situation occurs in the team.
What Van Nistelrooy has shown when he became a temporary coach after Ten Hag was fired will not be good for Ruben Amorim, there will be high expectations for Ruben Amorim at the beginning of his arrival and that is not good I think because it is not easy for Ruben Amorim to make progress in the performance of the Manchester United team in a short time.

Ruben Amorim must be given time to start the process as Man United management has given to Ten Hag, especially now that Ruben Amorim is handling the team while the season is running, of course he needs a lot of changes to be able to build this team as he wants, so I think for the beginning of Ruben Amorim's arrival, don't put high expectations.
Amorin will need what time? Van Nistelrooy had few games to take charge of before officially handing over to amorim and he did justice to  that with zero complain of not having too much time to settle in. has anything changed in the team? it's same players that played for Eric ten hang that Van Nistelrooy made use of and when Amorin starts his first game, he has no excuse than to deliver with the team he's going to possibly have a long term contract with if he does wel

with the kind of result Manchester united have had since the start of the season and the teams' current position on the table, if the coach is able to, he needs to put them right back into winning ways because every game lost draws them down further knowing that this is a very competitive season they are in. the players needs to take responsibility and not expect the coach to come play for them before winning games. everything is not always about coaches' laxity.
