Awesome!
We happen to currently be in a period of possibly almost "perfect storm", inasmuch as of the two crypto platforms we are currently using one of them, the Stellar platform, has just very recently now displayed a nice surge back upward toward the value it had about half a year ago or more, so is looking quite likely now to soon be back into a "useful" range...
...While both the other platform we use, HORIZON, and the reference coin we use as our default "unit of account" when displaying the "Latest Rates" values computed for our game assets, are still in the depths of a "post dump doldrums" meaning both of them (
HZ and
DVC) are "insanely" cheap on their "spot markets".
Those facts combine to make this an almost ideal moment to enter.
Not fully ideal because Stellar has already climbed a lot thus having picked up a stash of Stellar back when it was in the 9 to 10 cents USD range or lower would obviously have been even better, but still almost ideal both because Stellar still has a good way to go to regain its levels of less than a year ago and because both
HZ and
DVC are currently still crazy-cheap because people's gains in these last few days of altcoin bull market have not yet gobbled up all the cheap HZ and DVC.
The "spot market" for
HZ is itself on Stellar too so while Stellar is still down relatively entry is aided not just by the insanely low price of HZ as measured in XLM but also by XLM not having fully recovered yet.
HZ has been problematic for a long time now because at least one of its "whales" that discovered the fact the Galactic Milieu is using the HORIZON platform chose to totally trash its value rather than using their position as one of its "whales" to ratchet it upward in value and keep taking more and more and more of it "off the markets" in the Galactic Milieu's tradition of accumulating coins and tokens not for dumping but rather to take more and more of more and more things "off of the markets", since utimately money is IOUs so the goal of issuers should of course be to "buy back" their IOUs, their real value being in the very fact that they exist for the very purpose of being "bought back"...
Probably the best place to start with establishing values is with the "RPG" (Role Playing Game) currency, which is typically things like copper pieces, silver pieces, gold pieces, platinum pieces and so on.
Those are usually not hard to come up with an equivalence for, for example we correlate CoffeeMUD's goldpieces with Crossfire RPG's goldpieces directly, and even correlate the "credits" in the web-based game "Galaxy Forces" with Crossfire RPG's platinum pieces.
From there we are able to convert into crypto simply by using the asset
MGOLD (MUD gold) on HORIZON or
AMBerium (Crossfire RPG's Amberium piece, equivalent to 50k gold pieces, 10k platinum pieces, or 100 jade pieces - a jade is 100 platinum, a platinum is 5 gold) on Stellar.
