Liverpool have really looked stunning this season, with only one defeat in all their matches and it cannot be denied that their defense is indeed solid. Meanwhile, Real Madrid has not been able to perform consistently so far, and contrary to Liverpool, Real Madrid has a very vulnerable defense line. I think Liverpool will be the favorites in this match, especially since they will be playing at home.

This will clearly be a tough battle for Real Madrid because they not only have to face a team that is currently in good shape, but they have to play with a very worrying back line due to the number of injured players.
Looking at Liverpool's current abilities, there is great hope for them to beat Real Madrid who are experiencing a crisis of injured players, especially for the defense. Liverpool have also performed consistently and the contribution of the front line has also been quite good in scoring goals in every match they have played this season. Playing at Anfield will also provide an advantage for Liverpool because they do have much greater motivation to beat Real Madrid.

Ancelotti must be very aware that playing at Liverpool's home ground with the condition of the players they currently have will be difficult. The other option would be to play it safe to get a point and perhaps the strategy would be much more defensive and rely on counter-attacks.
I know that Real Madrid have gone through a lot of troubles this season, loosing some key players to injury, loosing some important matches also, but I think they are not as bad as loosing to a team like Liverpool despite the fact that Liverpool are in a hell of good form in the premier League and also in the champions league too. For me, Real Madrid will also be the favourite because they have been able to manage the situation and they are a lot more better than they were before all of these issues started to becloud the team and I must commend Carlo Ancelotti for the excellent job he is doing at the club despite all that has happened so far.
