You are right, there is no need to hide anything from children this days, one day you will be shocked to find out that they knew about gambling already, someone close to them might have influence them.
You are right about this. We need to educate our children about gambling. But it should be on a very basic level, I believe. If you go into deep while making them understand about it, then it will grow curiosity in the mind of the child. Then they will start exploring about it more by themselves and will be eagerly waiting to try gambling. Hence, just the basic knowledge about the definition and the merits and demerits of gambling can really help the children to understand the things better.
Yes it is indeed a good idea but the problem is yes as you have in mind my friend that it is very possible for a child to try to find out about what gambling is explained by their parents in detail considering that a child who is still a minor usually has a fairly high level of curiosity about everything they have just heard or found, so actually the idea of telling them is good but there are negative effects that can also occur and I think giving them basic knowledge is also still possible to arouse their curiosity about gambling. So so far for me and what I think is a fairly effective way to prevent a child from being exposed to gambling is to keep them away from anything that can connect them to gambling such as limiting their accessibility to internet media which is now one of the biggest places for casinos to promote.
