I don't want Liverpool to suffer the same fate as Arsenal last season because Arsenal led the standings for a long time but finally they gave up and Manchester City became champions. Likewise with this season where Liverpool has performed quite well and they must be consistent in maintaining their performance by winning 3 points in every match they play.

Manchester City will try hard to keep the championship title, they are a team with a strong mentality in winning the championship title. Therefore when there is a good opportunity other teams must be able to take advantage of the gap to widen the points gap with Manchester City. Arne slot is currently on the rise, he has succeeded in bringing change to Liverpool's progress, will he be able to record a record this season by bringing Liverpool to become champions in his first season coaching.
We all know that Arsenal is one club that finds it very hard to remain consistent with their impressive performances till the end of the season which is why they've never won the league since 2004. But for Liverpool, I don't see them suffering the same fate Arsenal have suffered in the last two seasons where they eventually finished as runners-up instead of winning the league after leading the table for a better parts of the seasons.  Liverpool this season have been the best performing team in the league and I think there'll be the team that'll finally end Manchester City's dominance in the English Premier League.
To say that Arsenal does not vary from season to season and Liverpool still has its untapped potential we have to understand that each season is different and cannot be benchmarked against the other. Arsenal may well still be on the quest for establishing the foundations that will get them there, a season without a trophy can also be a long time to look at your options and strengthen yourself. While Liverpool’s defence is a major question, the offence is attacking as it has rarely been seen, and if it sustains that performance through the season, this could be a historic year. As fans we should appreciate any side that can endure and compete in a league as competitive as the Premier League because hard work does not only count during the final third, throughout the season it does too.
