If we do comparisons like that then there might be different coins that have dominated Bitcoin over a specific period of time. Crypto is a market that is very much Bitcoin centric and these alts only go up when Bitcoin go up and vice versa. Alts are for short term, as new alts keep coming up every week or month. It's best to invest in alts for short duration and exit when you are getting good profit. Bitcoin is for those who can wait for long. There are people in my circle who have bought BTC under 30k and still hodling for 100k$. They are very much sure that Bitcoin will soon hit 100k, there might not be many who are that much sure for alts.
