What Ruben Amorim did was very appropriate because he certainly had analyzed the factors why Manchester United often failed to be consistent every season. Maybe some people will consider Amorim a little selfish for his decision not to involve Ruud van Nistelrooy and a number of staff, but if seen from the positive side Amorim has started a good decision and wants to maximize this opportunity purely under his system.
I also think that what Ruben Amorim did was not wrong at all because apart from wanting to maximize the performance of the Manchester United team itself purely through his own guidance, he probably did not want to be considered as someone who still depended on the old coaching staff when he coached the Manchester United team. So what he decided was actually the result of his own thinking because he had more confidence to make better changes with his own staff at Manchester United.

If I'm not mistaken, there is one staff that Amorim still maintains, namely the liaison between the academy players, if the news I got is not right, please revise it. talking about Ruben Amorim, I am very sure that he is aware that it is not easy to handle a team as big as Manchester United. his duties will be tested directly at the beginning of handling MU, what is certain is that Amorim will make approaches and certainly explain the programs that he brings to The Red Devil. as I said before, whether or not Nistelrooy is there, he has stated that he will also bring experts who help handle Manchester United. maybe Amorim has his decision not to keep Nistelrooy, that step he took maybe to smooth part of his project. let's just see the performance of this Portuguese coach, how he will implement his system to bring United in a better direction. give Amorim time, not because United does not have competitive players, but Amorim must also fix the internal problems that occur in the team's dressing room. if all goes well and the potential that Amorim has, should be able to bring United back to being a much more competitive team than before. the end of the season is still long, at least Amorim still has enough time to bring United as it should be.
