I understand the interest in exploring Bitcoin’s cryptography, but I have concerns. Brute-forcing private keys without permission is both illegal and unethical, as it infringes on others’ privacy and ownership. Bitcoin’s security is built on the impracticality of this approach, and attempting it could have unintended negative consequences. Instead of brute-forcing, maybe we could focus on research that strengthens the network or educates users on security best practices.
Sorry to break it to you, but security isn't built on ignorance. I also think you are unaware that ECDSA and the underlying ECDLP backing it up are not proven to be hard problems, so Bitcoin's security, like all other EC-based systems, is built on the faith that it is a hard problem.
Let's all stop researching and follow some best security practices, lol, that will surely protects us if tomorrow EC is proven to be solved in log time.
