No matter how rich I get, I do not think I would be risking throwing away $30 million. I am also sure that the French authorities are making moves after this ridiculous amount of money betted to prevent encouraging their citizens from following in the gambler's footsteps. But I think instead of punishing the platform, the government should focus on how can they 'control' their citizens' gambling habits. Focusing on one platform will not eradicate people who would continue to bet this huge amount of money.

I think the government is right when they don't allow people to gamble with the election of democracy, otherwise why will any sane person gamble with a whooping of $30m, that can either be someone who is from. Trump camp to make it as a away to get more votes or money laundering. Most likely, it's money laundering else I'm sure that the person can bet less amount of money because of fear of losing it but betting that big amount is making it go completely to get a fresh clean money.

Come to think of think, not like someone isn't expose or doing anything, why will you use $30m to gamble at once when it's not like you are been obsessed with Trump or US election, even Trump as candidates that has casino business will not dare try to bet with $30m because he knows the risk involved that he can lose everything at once. If the France government do their investigation, they will definitely find some cockroaches in the guy closet.
